Donations are processed through our trusted third party payment platform classy.org. If you make an online donation certain personally identifiable information about you will be requested (such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information). This information enables classy.org to process your donation and enables spread The Vote to communicate with you about it. 4. Volunteer Information
In seeking a volunteer position with Spread The Vote, you may decide to submit, through our sites or otherwise, personally identifiable information (including your name, address, telephone number, email address and other personally identifiable information). All information entered into any online forms related to volunteering is strictly private, and will be viewed only by Spread The Vote for human resource purposes. No information stored or submitted in the online forms will be used for any purpose other than to assess your qualifications as a volunteer for Spread The Vote.
5. COPPA
We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA). COPPA and its accompanying Federal Trade Commission regulation establish United States Federal law that protects the privacy of children using the Internet. Spread The Vote uses third party social media sites to encourage public interaction with Spread The Vote and in general make our content available in other formats or forums.
